Online Applications - The Department of Veterans
Affairs continues to expand the form that can be submitted online. For a current
list of which ones are available, consult this page.
Compensation & Pension Applications - VONAPP is
an interactive Web site where veterans can apply for VA Compensation and Pension
benefits. This site is designed to walk the claimant through the application
questions and provides helpful text along the way. It also allows the applicant
to submit the claim electronically, receive a confirmation number, and informs
the claimant which VA office has jurisdiction for processing the claim.
Education
- The Web Automated Verification of Enrollment (WAVE) provides veterans
receiving the MGIB–Active Duty (Chapter 30) the ability to submit their "Monthly
Verification of Enrollment" form (VA Form 22-8979) online. The system also
provides them with some basic benefit information.
Health
- The 10-10EZ Application for Health Benefits is now available online! This
service will increase convenience by allowing veterans to apply for VA health
benefits via the Internet. They can submit the 10-10EZ form electronically to
any Veterans Health Affairs facility across the nation. Since the form requires
a signature, applicants are encouraged to save processing time by printing the
completed form, then signing and sending a copy of the form to the VA facility
via surface mail or fax once they have submitted the information electronically.
Vocational Rehab & Employment Services - Use the
VONAPP site to fill out the Disabled Veterans Application for Vocational
Rehabilitation, VA Form 28-1900.
Special
Programs - Several of the Department's programs
target specific veteran populations, and we hope you will take advantage of the
resources they offer.
Disabled
Veterans - This page includes information on Web
site accessibility, the President's Committee on Employment of People with
Disabilities, and links to sites that deal address other accessibility issues.
Homeless
Veterans - The homeless program promotes the
development and provision of housing and other supportive services. Homeless
veterans achieve residential stability, increase their skill levels and/or
income, and obtain greater self-determination.
Military Services - Outreach to active duty
service members and veterans is an integral part of the Veterans Benefits
Administration. We provide information that will prove helpful to the separating
service member as well as the veteran.
Women Veterans
- The Center for Women Veterans ensures women veterans have access to VA
benefits and services and that VA health care and benefits programs are
responsive to the gender-specific needs of women veterans.
