@  Asiadaug : (16 November 2014 - 02:07 AM) Thanks. I Have Seen The Fast Ltr 10-35 And Have Seen Cases Where The Va Has Apparently Agreed That Tinnitus Can Have Delayed Onset. I Did Not In Looking Over The Fast Ltr See Where They Had Ruled 10-028 Into That. And, I Am Not Sure In The Vas Issuance Of ‘policy’ Type Letters How They Might Roll In Previous Instructions Into Newer Ones. Maybe There Is Some Intranet Traceability Capability? I Was Just Curious As There ‘appeared’ To Be Conspicuous Absence Of That 10-028. I Am Assuming 10-028 Was Written In 2010. But It May Be I Should Not Assume Anything.

5 Months Since Dro Hearing

Posted by retiredat44 , 01 May 2011 · 952 views

5 months since DRO hearing. About 6 issues, 3 denied, 3 no word...
now going into month 6. Three of the issues had SOC and are stil denied. 3 issues, have nothing said... Maybe those three will be approved without going to the BVA.

During the DRO hearing, a lot of misinformation from the VA people were straightened out, as the VA were clueless and I showed them where they were totally wrong with many facts. The DRO officer resued to give a time frame on a decision, but seemed to point to a short while, not a long while, but alluded to saying that there are lots of claims in front of mine.

My Claim and issues actually goes back 30 years from active duty and 15 years when I won my first claim, which wa sonly about 50% of what I claime was approved. My new claims ar epartially based on my 15 year old claim, as I have tons more evidence now and should have appealed it back then...

I feel confident I am winning at least 3 of my my six issues. But, they are really dragging their feet. Fromt what i have been reading, it takes about 4 to 12 monhts to get a decision froma DRO hearing.. if that's the case I am pretty close in the 6 month range and expect my win any frakkin day now.

until then, my life, and my familiy's life is hell. My daughter had to apply fro money for college because 50% disability will not pay for her college. everything we own, was lost, is broken and wore out.. and to top off the misery. my health hang precariously in a state of severe chronic pain in between surgical procedures, while my pancreas disease teters on life and death.

That 6 mont hospital nightmare fighting for my liife stays with me ever moment as it could turn bad at any second, the thrombosis of my splenic vein, the cysts on my pancreas can get infected at any second.. my blood pressure could go and kill me in a second... iut's happened before.. and the doctors expect me to have many more emergencies because I am in such bad shape...

meanwhile, I wait for the VA to make decisions.. and these detrmine life and death, and whehte rmy family lives in the dirt of can get the help they deserve...

If my family has to pick up where I left off and wade through the many, many large boxes of medical records to continue the fight for benefits, if I become incapacitated, or die, they would have to endure dragging my records back and forth to the VA to continue the fight...

I continue the fight, crippled and living day to day on morphine, and try to eat and drink, wake up in hell every day and get the energy to fight on...

Neurological disease(s) a body that moves or does not move with/ithout commands... a digestive system riddled with disease... eyes with not only more cataracts still left in the eft eye, maybe adding glaucoma to that eye,, as the right eye already had the cataract removed, but has a growth on the right eye a choroidal nevus.... that may continue to grow..

not to mention degenerative disc disease..., and I am sure I have not mentioned all my diseases and issues...

the war continues...

the VA: Deny, Deny, Until they Die!
