@  Asiadaug : (16 November 2014 - 02:07 AM) Thanks. I Have Seen The Fast Ltr 10-35 And Have Seen Cases Where The Va Has Apparently Agreed That Tinnitus Can Have Delayed Onset. I Did Not In Looking Over The Fast Ltr See Where They Had Ruled 10-028 Into That. And, I Am Not Sure In The Vas Issuance Of ‘policy’ Type Letters How They Might Roll In Previous Instructions Into Newer Ones. Maybe There Is Some Intranet Traceability Capability? I Was Just Curious As There ‘appeared’ To Be Conspicuous Absence Of That 10-028. I Am Assuming 10-028 Was Written In 2010. But It May Be I Should Not Assume Anything.

Burning Some Bridges, However, Doing What Needs To Be Done

Posted by arng11 in arng11's Blog, 21 April 2014 · 1619 views

I have often said, much like the saying goes, either people are with you or against you or just idly stand by and do nothing.

I've learned that if you want to be successfull you surround yourself with successful people.  If you want to feel like you are loved then surround yourself around people that love. If you want to be protected surround...

" What Did You Do In The War?"

Posted by Commander Bob in Cmdr. Bob's Blog, 01 December 2013 · 2646 views

" What Did You Do In The War?" Like many combat soldiers, I either said nothing or briefly told family and friends the canned details of my war experiences for over four decades.

For those interested,  "I'll keep it short, sweet and to the point"...

One Sunday morning in February, 1968, when I was eighteen years old, and serving in a...

If I'm understanding this blog thing, this is an appropriate place for me to do my rambling and ranting, instead of in forum threads. This way, when I go off on tangents, I'm not derailing someone's thread and/or possibly getting someone's question waylaid and lost.

If I'm wrong about what this blog is for, someone tell...

Mystery Claim Shows Up After All Other Claims Were Complete

Posted by justrluk in justrluk's Blog, 04 June 2012 · 2130 views

It's 4 in the A.M. and I can't sleep. It's been 3 months since a claim with no contentions showed up on eBenefits. I still can't get anyone to tell me what it's for. I haven't claimed anything and thought my appeals might be reviewed once the last claim was complete, but now they have thrown a wrench in things. I thought all of this...

Hi Everyone,

My name is Michael and I'm 38 years old. I served in the Marine Corps from 91-95. I have lived a pretty happy life for the most part. In the more recent years my disabilities have become worse causing my pain to become severe and to the point of not being able to take it most days. I take a ton of medications including narcotics and...

This is some interesting functionality that Tbird has added to the site. There are certainly some things that I would love to say about the claims process... from tips on how best to file your claim, to gripes about certain types of cases I get. None of those would be appropriate for the main forums. But I could turn those into blog entries here. Hrm....

Posted by Bobby Slydell in In This Corner, 26 May 2009 · 1506 views

Everything is political in our country...probably everywhere there is a country. The VA is no different. Veterans and pundits and the occasional talking head are quick to tell us what this administration is doing for the VA and what that other administration didn't do for the VA. These guys are good, those guys are bad and it goes on ad...
