Well as some of you know I have been fighting with the VA over my zero percent skin cancer after 5 operations. Well got SSOC yesterday and retro check yesterday.

Rated 100 percent from Jan 18th 08 thru Feb 1st 08 due to 6 months after last operation. Then 30 percent on Feb 1st 08. Six months after last operation. I really beleive it was the picture I sent in that did the trick. Even with the 30 percent I will still be rated only 80 percent because we all know 50 + 30 + 30 + 10 +10 + 10 + 10 = 80 still one more DRO appeal for the low ball of my back and sinuitis,

Yes, isnt it sad, that, after we get back from fighting the enemy, we have to fight the VA even harder to get what is coming to us. Sometimes I think the VARO should be moved to Iraq and "take care" of their Veterans and get them to commit suicide, like they do our Veterans by frustrating us in poverty all these years.

Wings it was direct I had my first skin cancer operation 6 months after discharge. I got 30 percent for disfigurment. Bought my wife a nice ring today for christmass going to stash the rest for a little while

Boats was a Denovo Review Filed May 18th 08 Descion made Dec 7 08. Got statment of case but not descion letter yet. I am happy with the rateing think the VA did me fair. Just got a few more items to appeal going to due the DRO letter today. They turned me down for a few items on increase. How long have you been waiting?

Put DRO in Feb 08, just called and said partial grant was made Saturday the 13th percentage still the same in the system though.

Persistence pays off-photos do too-

I sent in two photos of my husband to the AMC that I feel were fairly good evidence to support the other stuff I sent in.They were to support his rapid weight gain due to undiagnosed and untreated diabetes.This was not the strongest evidence I had but the VA examiner had to look at him staring at the camera-it put a face on the claim.

recieved my SOC last week also, 100% Temp for stroke (did not say how long assuming 6 months), increased migraines to 30%, all others denied with exception of neck says it is continued whatever that is. So here I have 210% combined to 90%(94 rounded down) just missing that 10% for 100%....lol Looks like the BVA it will go.
