(Just a note: this should go in the C&P Question Forum)

Yes, I recently had one. I'm not sure why they bother sending a vet that has already been diagnosed with sleep apnea and is on a CPAP other than to have the doc determine service connection. My exam was scheduled for 90 minutes but I was in an out in under 15 minutes. The doc asked me if I had trouble staying awake during the day before having the CPAP along with a few other mundane questions and I was out of there. He had all the information he needed from my medical records.

I can't speak directly as to whether or not the agent orange presumptives will allow service connection as I am just not that familiar with them. I know in my case (Gulf War), I claimed sleep apnea as a sleep disorder and as a respiratory disorder, both of which are presumptive for Gulf War vets.

I don't have the results of my claim yet but I hope it goes through. Getting rated for being on a CPAP/BPAP is an automatic 50% so its worth the shot.

Vietnam veterans with DMII,IHD is a presumptives, but sleep apnea is not,if you have medical evidence that sleep apnea occur during your service of with-than one year after being discharged, you have a chance of getting service connected for sleep apnea, but sleep apnea can be claim as secondary to PTSD,DMII if you got the medical evidence to prove it.I hope this help. There will be some-one else along can explain more throughly
