I scheduled a Dr. appointment because my knee was killing me. I cant sit very long and sure cant stand very long without my knee hurt at about an "8".(Prior to Iraq in 2003 I tore my medial mediscus and had a partial tear on my ACL. They fixed the medial mediscus but not the ACL and shipped me to Iraq.). While telling the Dr. about my knee I told her about my lower back going out when sitting for long periods of time. (SCed for DDD in my neck). The doctor X-rayed my back and knee and said that I had arthritis in both. That day she scheduled me for a bone scan. Anyone had one before? I assume it is to see how much Arthritis is in me. What are the chances of claiming DDD on my lower back? Thanks for any replies.
Sorry to hear about your additional ortho proplems, 'bubblehead80'. Do you receive comp. for your bilateral knee condition? Have you filed for low back, and incressed SC% for the arthritis conditions?
As you may know, the comp. clock starts when you file the claim.
Best wishes,
C.B.

No on the bilateral yet, I was going to wait and see what the bone scan results are and apply on all at once. I should have filed on bilateral but didn't know I could for a while (after reading it here) The lower back, from what I have read on here, one needs to be ordered to bed rest for a few months. A week usually does the job. Thanks for the reply.Sorry to hear about your additional ortho proplems, 'bubblehead80'. Do you receive comp. for your bilateral knee condition?
