How about a list of attornies and a grading system from those of us who have used them?

I think that's a great idea. I'll go first.

Susan Lieberman, Lieberman & Mark, Washington, DC, Grade= F. If anyone wants to know why she thoroughly earned this grade, please let me know. We fired her.

Yes, i would like to know why she earned a grade of "F"

i may have an attorney in NJ who takes VA claims and one in FL.

Speaking Out
I would like to add the attorney and law firm that represented me in my FTCA for medical malpractice. The attorney was William Riley. The firm is Price, Waicukauski, and Riley. They are located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The grade received is F. The attorney took no time to research VA regulations and tried to handle a case against the VA the same way he handled a case against the Postal Service. We settled the case, without his help and for much less than it was worth because he had done such a poor job preparing the case that I couldn't get another attorney to take it because we were so far behind in what should have been done preparing for our trial date. I think Hadit having a place to look and find attorney's that are truely willing to help Veterans is a great thing because think of it this way...if an attorney sues anyone other than a federal agency he takes 40% of what is recovered, but an attoney suing the USA can only take 25%. Do the math. 40% of what is recovered from a private company or 25% from the government. Which case do you think will get the attorney's A game?

I am familiar with Liebermann and Mark and have a vet that the VA wants to pay them $8000 for work they didnt do.

I think my NOD I prepared for the vet will get that reduced significantly however in my opinion-
they did nothing towards his award.

I got his award for him. They didnt.

I think they should be reported to the bar in this situation-but that is up to the veteran.

My personal attorney is very interested in the new vet rep regs.

He is relocating to an office close to the Bath VA -this is a major veterans community. I suggest starting out with any personal attorney you have as they too might be willing to rep vets-

they need to pass a test at the VA first- and them start googling as they are sure starting to advertise----
