i know a lot of parents kids have made the ultimate sacrifice and a lot
of them have had their sons and daughters come back in horrible shape.
my condolences and prayers go out to them.
though not on the battlefield my oldest works for a defense contractor
and has contributed to the defense of this country. my other son who is now
in college is now considering working for the government"nsa" he is a computer
expert. but my daughter who is almost finished LPN schooling has been working
in veterans homes as part of her training.she says she loves helping the
veterans and may work there permanently. she has made it with nothing
but an old 87 ford pickup i gave her to go back and forth to school ,the windows
are automatic and will not go up or down. the headlites went out for a couple
of months and she finally was able to get them fixed. all this with a little girl to
take care of. man i am proud of her accomplishments!!
the reason i had to give her old truck they had two vehicles go out on them
at the same time.

WOW!!! Kudos to you for raising such wonderful kiddos who are proving to be productive members of society! As parents, I think it's the best we can hope for. You have every right to be a very proud Papa!!
