copy of my lowball rating at amc. i received notice from them on
veterans day they are looking into my claim. said would take
two to four weeks to evaluate. i think they are the ones i am going
with if they decide to take it. i am glad i did not jump on another
lawyer that contacted me and said would represent me even though they may be good just dont know . fauson i think

Can you put up a link to your Lawyer or his Law Office? Maybe get the spelling of his name corrected? Thanks. ~Wings

I used a lawyer that Jim Strickland recommended. I had talked to two others locally before that and they just stalled me. Karl Kazmierczak is the name of the lawyer I used and he did his homework because he believed I had a good CUE claim. He has a website under that name. You can google him. We both took a gamble since I had never met him before I went to the DRO with him on the claim. We had talked often via phone and email. Berta has the same lawyer. When you talk about old claims with lots of retro I would try and find a lawyer to help me.

i think i tried to contact him awhile back i don't know if it was
my fault or what but did not hear from him,but if Berta recommends
him that is all i have to know . if they would take my case i would
feel more secure knowing Berta liked this guy. will try to
contact him again.

Ken Carpenter is my attorney,
He wanted my complete Cfile, I told him that I had a complete copy of my c file, but he said he could not use mine it had to come direct from the VA, which disappointed me. So he requested it and we waited 7 months to get it, in the meantime I sent him several documents related to the claim, after 6 months he said he had enough to write the NOD, that was in Sept, he received the cfile copy in Oct. After telling his office that I was ready to submit my own NOD and represent myself. They had it ready in 3 days.
I think he may have too many claims and his office has become overloaded with work.
Or maybe it is as another poster said in another forum that attorneys like to delay a decision so that they can make more money.
Happy Trails
Paul
