last night 3 elreno oklahoma cops beat, tasered, and choked a man in a diabetic coma because he would not submit to their commands.his blood level when the paramedics showed up was 11. the guy was nearly dead so they beat him up.how pathetic.he was wearing a diabetic necklace.
friends you need a sticker on your car to warn people in case you have an episode,it could save your life.i am getting stickers made that says "diabetic on board".

hope this helps a vet

I guess the main thing is the poor man made it. After watching the Video I don't think that they should fire the cops but they should train them better.

I guess I need to get a bracelet or something.

Me too! Also, I worry that someday an "enthusiastic" young police officer might taser me for some reason and short circuit my cardiac pacemaker.

It could happen..."Don't tase me Bro."

Wow,,,

At the end of the video, I heard the police officers ask his medically condition. That should have been asked in the beginning.

We can't see in the video if the man was actually fighting with police,,, we can't hear the man yelling at police,,, BUT, we do hear the police speaking and the taser sound.

Also, if police cadets are trained in noticing signs of specific illness (as stated in the video), then couldn't they have noticed something was wrong?

Do I think the officers should be fired??? Hmmm, I wouldn't go that far. However, I do think that their should be some type of internal investigation and re-training.

The reason I say this is because situations like this is actually,,, life and death.

Yes, and if you have any pain meds in your system and get stopped you may be in jail. I sometimes stumble when taking pain meds although I drive fine. I have to have my wife drive me very often because I know if I got stopped I would be in a world of hurt even though every cop is probably a veteran. They will not cut you a break. Imagine if you have some clonazepam in your system and you have a wreck and they did a blood test on you......jail!!! Refuse the blood test and don't do the drunk road tests.

this is for diabetics and not in anyway meant for those taking meds that would hinder ability to operate a vehicle. if you are taking those meds,i would hope we are wise enough to know our abilities before we act.
