Finally recieved my on the record decision from social security, got favorable decision! Filed orginally of april 08. They went back to june 2007 so I should recieve back pay from dec to current. does anyone know how long it takes to recieve your first check and back pay, called today and ss doesnt see how much i am getting a month yet they state there are two things pending in the payment center but that is it

Thanks pebbles. Good for you. I think I got mine in 1 or 2 months. I just know it wasn't too long after the grant, and puff it was in my bank.

Effective date should be July plus 5 months as they pay a month behind so I say back to Dec 1, 2007 should be some nice change and Medicare will start next December not to far off either. I think that you should be paid very soon.
