How do I change my existing direct deposit?
You can use Go Direct only if you currently receive your Federal benefit payments by check and you want to begin receiving your benefits by Direct Deposit instead.
If you are already receiving your Federal benefit payment by Direct Deposit, and would like to have your payments sent to a new or different account, you should call the Federal agency that pays your benefits.

I called Veterans Compensation, direct deposit (877) 838-2778
I changed my direct deposit last month to a new checking account.
All went well.
I called Veterans Insurance, direct deposit 1-800-669-8477
HOWEVER, only one (of 2) policies transferred over, the VA did not
change the second policy. I had to watch my account on-line and then
called again to tell the VA to correct the mistake.
Waiting to see if it posts correctly next month.
