§ 404.1529. How we evaluate symptoms, including pain.
(3) Consideration of other evidence
Factors relevant to your symptoms, such as pain, which we will consider include:
(iv) The type, dosage, effectiveness, and side effects of any medication you take or have taken to alleviate your pain or other symptoms;

I take fourteen different types of medication for depression and other illnesses. These medications cause me to be dizzy and drowsy most of the day and is a common type of side effect.
Will the side effects of these medicines affect my social security disability claim in any way?
If a doc states these meds are needed for medical treatment and document your
side-effects with rationale of how these side effects impact occupational functioning,
then this should be factored in.
General side effects, do not necessarily pertain to everyone.
