Founded September, 1945 in Kumagaya, Japan while the Division performed occupation duties. The purpose and object of this association shall be to perpetuate the spirit, prestige, and memories of the 43d Infantry Division, Army of the United States, achieved in World War II and Korea; to aid and assist former members of this Division in re-establishing themselves in civilian life; to promote fraternity and mutual helpfulness among its members; and to make every contribution to our country's efforts to maintain everlasting peace. AARTS Army Transcipt Service
The AARTS Operations Center is located at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Our mission is to provide transcripts of military training and experience to soldiers and veterans of the Army, Army National Guard, and US Army Reserve. Working with the local Directorate Of Information Management (DOIM), AARTS maintains a database of over 3,500,000 soldier records. The AARTS staff fills over 2,000 requests per week. Transcript requests are processed on the work day (M-F) they are received and mailed not later than the following work day to academic institutions, soldiers, Army Education Centers, and employers around the world.

They call it the Persian Gulf disease and the Persian Gulf Registry. The Los Angeles Times, "Government Study of Veterans Finds No Evidence of Gulf War Disease. The Feb 1994 news release said, "Reigle Uncovers U.S. Shipment of Biological Warfare Materials to Iraq Prior to Gulf War". The Veterans Administration is not treating Gulf War veterans, but only monitoring their blood to see how well the biological warfare agents worked

Korean War Veterans Association Iron Triangle Chapter Salem OR
Three towns, Pyongyang, Chorwon, and Kumhwa arranged in a triangle around a long valley, the valley surrounded by steep hills. The Iron Triangle was fought over again and again. Located in this area was Pork Chop Hill and a series of out posted hills such as White Horse, Arrowhead, T-Bone, Spud, Alligator Jaws, Old Baldy, Arsenal, and Erie. The Iron Triangle KWVA monument is erected on Oregon Department of Veterans Grounds in Salem, Oregon.

The National Organization of Veterans' Advocates (NOVA) was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the District of Columbia in 1993 to serve attorneys and non-attorney practitioners admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC). NOVA recognizes the need to share information and analysis in order to provide successful advocacy for veterans.
