Agent Orange Quilt of Tears
The Quilts of Tears is a project started by the Agent Orange Victims and Widows Support Network. The quilts are a memorial, tribute and honor to the Agent Orange Victims, both living and dead.. The project began in 1998 by Jennie R. Le Fevre, President of the Agent Orange Victims and Widows Support Network.
The quilts are to draw national attention to the plight of Vietnam Veterans affected by Agent Orange sprayed on them in Vietnam. The quilts are called the "Quilts of Tears" for many tears have been shed for these victims.
Family members of these victims are encouraged to submit quilt blocks in honor of their loved ones. The blocks are then sewn into quilts that are displayed at various veterans reunions and functions.
American Gulf War Association
The American Gulf War Veterans Association (AGWVA) was established with one goal in mind: To obtain treatment for those service members and their families who experience symptoms collectively known as the "Gulf War Illness". However, there is more to this issue than meets the eye. As this investigation into causation has now progressed into the arena of possible exposure to chemical and/or biological agents, radiation poisoning due to the use of depleted uranium and most disturbingly, the use of our fighting men and women as "Guinea Pigs" in medical experimentation, the AGWVA has now added a second goal: To obtain justice and compensation for all those affected by these illnesses. Our troops returned home after serving their country with an illness that appears to be spreading into the general population, treatment is being denied and to date there are no safeguards of our blood supply. Those responsible have passed the burden of proof onto those that are suffering and least able to fight the enormous bureaucracy of governmental agencies that are more concerned with avoiding admission.

US-Korea 2000 Foundation
US.-Korea 2000 Foundation is a private, publicly supported, 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation, of limited duration, formed in July 1998 to achieve the specific objectives outlined in our mission statement. Our mission is to identify and locate Korean War veterans and their families; inform them and/or, to the extent practicable, facilitate their participation in 50th Anniversary commemorative activities; conduct 50th Anniversary commemorations; educate government officials and the general public regarding the history, lessons, and legacy of the Korean War.Since the start of the 50th Anniversary of hostilities – June 25, 2000, and for the following three years, the Foundation seeks to help Korean War veterans to finally obtain the recognition that they so richly deserve, and to help them bring to closure a bloody epoch which has haunted many of them for so much of their lives, but which has been ignored or forgotten by the American people and its government. According to the Veterans Administrations own statistics, less than 25 percent of the Korean War veterans belong to any national veterans organization or fraternal association. Generally ignored when the Korean War veterans came home, they went back to school, got married, raised a family, and, in essence, got on with their lives while, at the same time, disappearing into mainstream American society.
