Got letter from the VA with NOD Forms saying I have been denied VA Payment for use of Private E.R… reasons for denial =.Non VA Authorization Ok My spouse did call the VA before we went to the E.R. and talked with the VA Triage Nurse on duty, she said if we were unable to drive or get some one to drive me to the VAMC Then go ahead and go to the E.R. if we felt this was an emergency…which I could not drive and my spouse is disabled and makes her have hi-anxiety when she has to drive on free-ways in heavy traffic she freaks out. VA Triage Nurse acknowledge that veteran spouse called VA before going to the private E.R. Any way although the triage nurse mention in myhealtyvet notes that this was
