Summary of VA Benefits
The Summary of VA Benefits provides information on compensation, education, health care, home loans, insurance, pension, vocational rehabilitation and employment, and burial and memorial benefits.
With VA health care, you’re covered for regular checkups with your primary care doctor and appointments with specialists (like cardiologists, gynecologists, and mental health providers). You also gain access to home health and elder care, plus medical equipment, prosthetics, and prescriptions.
If you have a disability that was caused by-or got worse because of-your active military service, you may be able to get disability benefits from VA. A disability can be a physical illness or injury (like cancer or damage to a knee) or a mental-health condition (like anxiety or PTSD).
VA gives Veterans, Servicemembers, and their families generous education benefits and opportunities, including help paying tuition, picking out a school, career counseling, and more.
